I needed some receipt examples for a presentation and didn't want to spend half an afternoon recreating them in a design program. I found this and decided to give it a try.

It was pretty much what I was looking for. There are a lot of different receipt designs available, so I had several options to choose from instead of having to build the layout myself. The customization is also easy enough that I could make the changes I needed without much trial and error.

The download options were probably the biggest time saver. Once I had everything set up, I could export it directly as a high-resolution PNG.

That made it easy to drop the files straight into my presentation.

Nothing overly complicated about it, which is actually what I liked. I needed something quick and straightforward, and this did the job.

I originally found this because I needed a couple of receipts for design mock-ups and honestly wasn't expecting much. I just wanted something quick so I wouldn't have to build the whole thing myself.

It turned out to be pretty useful. There are quite a few different receipt styles available, and I liked having both branded and generic options. It was also easy to change the information and tweak things until the receipt looked the way I wanted.

The export feature is probably what made the biggest difference for me. Once I was done, I could just download the file as a PNG or PDF in high resolution. That's much easier than taking screenshots and trying to make them look presentable afterward.

It's a simple tool, but sometimes that's all you need. I was able to get what I needed without spending a lot of time on it, which is really the main reason I'd use it again.

I was looking for a receipt generator...

I was looking for a receipt generator mainly for mock-ups and visual projects, and this was one of the easier ones I've used.

A lot of similar tools seem to make the process more complicated than it needs to be, but I was able to get started here pretty quickly.

The selection is good, especially if you need something other than a basic generic receipt. There are different branded formats as well as more general ones, and most of the important details can be customized.

I liked being able to make the receipt look closer to what I actually needed instead of having to settle for a fixed template.
